The 11th Asian Cartoon Exhibition - "Asian Youth Culture"

The Japan Foundation has been organizing the Asian Cartoon exhibition since 1995, and it is going to be the last of the series. Employing a friendly medium for introducing Asian societies, cultures and peoples’ ways of life in various perspectives through cartoon works.

The theme for this year is "Asian Youth Culture", 10 leading cartoonists from 10 Asian nations have produced 75 works depicting the youth culture in the respective nations for our entertainment as well as promoting awareness of our Asian commonalities and diversity. The 10 nations are Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, The Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Cartoonist Tazidi Yusof represented Malaysia in this exhibition.
